I was lucky enough to provide artwork for Eclipse Phase, a brilliant role-playing game that’s doing an incredible job at defying genre. Sunward is the latest supplement, the PDF of which was released today. With thanks to Rob Boyle and the team at Posthuman, I was given the okay to post a couple of Sunward pieces that were created for the book:
Had a blast working on these. It’s not every day you’re asked to paint an androgynous transhuman character having a masturbation session with a virtual reality sim of the Venusian clouds. How awesome is that? It was very cool to see that piece included as cover art for Melt, a stand alone product released as a kind of preview for Sunward.
I’m setting up in Artists’ Alley at Wizard World Chicago next month. For the first time in three years. Can’t even believe it’s been that long. I’m working on a whole lot of whatnot for the show, part of which is a (kind of?) series of four Art Nouveau prints. The first of which is of:
The figure is inked, working on the design and layout of the piece now, I’ll have more to show soon : )
I recently had the pleasure of working with Monica Valentinelli and Shari Hill on THE QUEEN OF CROWS – a digital release short story for which I provided the character illustration. It was definitely an interesting piece, I don’t even want to get into how long it took to get the hair right, must get better at inking curves : )

The project has garnered several positive reviews across the board, I’m presently working on a new illustration of Mahochepi, I’ll have blue-line pencils posted when they’re finished. Last week, Monica created a trailer for the project (I have a hard time calling it an “e-book”, it really is so much more than that), with music provided by James Semple, both did amazing work on this:
This was a blast to work on. Planning on working up some prints for Wizard World Chicago, along with some other stuff I’m presently working on, pics to come : )
This has truly been quite the project. I’ve had sites over the years, but never under my own domain. I had no clue as to how to go about having a website made. I knew I wanted something that I could update easily, and I like the blog format that WordPress provides – it’d be fun to post random sketches, or pieces where I could write about the process behind them or the technique used or whatnot. This site is definitely a work in progress, I’m really looking forward to expanding with sketches, photos, and all kinds of craziness.
Should be fun : )
